I'm looking at caving in and buying one of these. We have a super tight budget, so I'm trying to figure out aside from the machine price, how much are the sticks going to run each cycle? I have long kinda crazy ones, so how many would I go through? Some places I'm seeing 10/cycle, other places I see 20/cycle 
do you do one each day til you O?
On CL near me, someone has an older clearplan one (same thing dif name, uses same sticks) for $50, eBay has them all over the place, and amazon has a pkg where if you do subscribe & save (so stupid, but for $10 off I'd do it & cancel after I got mine) you get the monitor, 30 sticks, and 3 dig pregnancy tests for $180. Thoughts on my best option? I'm already using cheapo strips & doing acupuncture weekly, and after 15 months off bc, I feel like I've spent way too much on stuff to pee on! Haha.
but from what I understand, the monitor uses data from your previous cycle and learns going forward. So for the first cycle, it makes you start testing on CD6 until you O (I also don't O til day 20 so will be using 20 sticks the first time through - you have to use them 10 at a time, I guess?). Then it uses that info to tell you when to start testing for future cycles, so ideally, it you wouldn't start til much later in your cycle the second time so you don't have to use so many sticks.
