The clogged duct that's responsible for my mastitis has me confused. I can't feel a knot anymore, but I never felt anything come out, nor do I have much pain relief. I still have red and pink streaking that is warm and tender to the touch. Would that be gone if the clogged duct is cleared?

I don't know about the streaking, but when I have clogged ducts I never feel anything come out. I massage & nurse often & do hot water. When the lump is gone, it's still pretty sore/tender for a day or two.

Same as pp - and the red/streaking is usually mastitis, esp if you have a fever..
Edit - sorry my phone spazzed! Are you on antibiotics?

It took me several days beyond starting antibiotics and feeling better for my pain and lump to go away. I just kept doing tons of nursing and warm compresses and pain relievers. Good luck!
