@MrstypeA: I did the wondfos and never even got a light second line, so I threw in the towel and just went ahead with the cycle hoping I did and relied on my blood work to say if I did or not. Best of luck!

Hi ladies,
I'm starting Clomid this Friday for my first time. When is the best time to take it?

@BrianaK: i took it at night right before bed so i could sleep through any side effects (nausea, etc)... BUT, i never had any side effects so it didn't really matter

@BrianaK: i'm starting tomorrow. I didn't think about time of day!
@LaughLines: that's a good idea!

@BrianaK: I took mine in the morning I think. I didn't really have any side effects though. Taking it at night does make sense

Thanks ladies! I'll be in Vegas this weekend while taking my first round of clomid and I'm thinking morning might be better in that situation! Hopefully I don't experience any side effects and I'm praying it works this month

@BrianaK: how are you doing? I'm on day 3 of clomid (50mg) and no side effects yet. Taking at night.

@travellingbee: this is my third day as well and I have no side effects yet. I'm taking it around 10 am with breakfast

Hi everyone I have more Clomid questions, I am now on cycle day 14 without a pos opk but I've had tons of cm since cd11 ... Any idea when I should o? I usually o around cd 16.

@BrianaK: Clomid delayed my ovulation a bit. I had flashing smiley faces for 5 days before we triggered on CD 15 and no solid smiley. I don't know when I would have O'd if we didn't trigger.

I actually Oed earlier with Clomid, but I hear it can change O a couple of days in either direction

Hmmmm ok I know my body fairly well after tracking O for around 9 months, it's just interesting that all the signs point to O but my opks are still negative at c15 so annoyed!

@BrianaK: If it's any consolation, I didn't get any positives on OPKs the month I conceived on clomid. Confusing!

@Worrywart: wow that's interesting, but it makes me hopeful! I generally have shorter cycles around 27 days so I need to O earlier for a longer luteal phase

Finally got my positive opk today cd16 which is the same as always... Didn't seem like clomid had any affect

@BrianaK: Did you have blood work done? Though you O on the same day, your E2 levels may be different or your progesterone levels may be different post ovulation also. Just because you don't O any earlier, I don't think it necessarily means it didn't do anything.

@PurplePumps: thanks for the info! I won't be having bloodwork this month but I can say I'm definitely ovulating on my left side (major cramps) usually it's my right.

Ok ladies another question, I had a positive opk yesterday around 830 am and today at 830 it's negative. That means my fertile window is over and I ovulated correct?
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@BrianaK: it means your surge is over. I know from charting that I always ovulate the day after my first positive OPK. But everyone is different. I would still BD today for sure. And probably tomorrow too.

@travellingbee: thanks! I'm crossing my fingers that this cAn finally be my month !
