T isn't so tall, but he's very chunky and Old Navy has worked well for us. They have skinny jeans and regular cut jeans and shorts. He's also in 18-24 mo size at 12 months, and has been for a few months!

Oh yeah, we do it all online. Our closest one is about 1.5 hours. Returns are super easy, I just send them back in the box they come in. You print the return label on their website. And so far the fit has been really consistent so I haven't had to return much.

@Jackiedavis87: Yay! Yeah I love it and they have sales constantly so you can always get a great deal. I learned as soon as T came that Carter's (and most other brands, really) really don't work for him. It's all too narrow! We do a monthly Old Navy order now.

I only have girls, but ON runs small. My kids are at least a size ahead and 2-3 sizes ahead at ON.

Try Joe Fresh, I always find it's made for chunky babies. My 2.5 year old has a pair of 6-12 month pants that still fall off his waist.

We also have an 8 mo in 18 month clothes and I have a hard time with the clothes being cut for toddler legs rather than baby fat. Old navy works best for us. But not perfect. We are particularly having trouble with pajamas. It is really hard to find zip up one piece pajamas that are cut big enough in the legs.

@travellingbee: we do two piece pjs. We have some one pieces that have fold over feet that in 24 months fit her body and because of the foot thing stay up over her ankle.
Not sure what we're going to do for winter though.

@travellingbee: they're totally too long but I can fold the foot part up like four inches and it stays.

Right there with you all, 7.5 months and 21-22 lbs We have a couple of 18-month 1-piece footie pjs from Carters. I don't like doing two pieces because it rides up on his tummy and I feel like he gets cold! So we do a onesie + pants or a long infant gown + leg warmers.

We have a ton of hand-me-downs from another larger baby so I haven't noticed anything about brand... except for the PJs part.

H&M also runs big and wide my little giant wore their joggers a lot, also Oshkosh overalls worked pretty well (especially the jeans ones). I had to roll up the legs but that worked pretty well.
