My DS is hard on the knees and pretty much all his pants have holes in them! I plan to cut some and make them into shorts but what about the rest? Do I just throw them away or donate them?

I usually toss them or cut into rags? I don't think clothes with holes are really donate worthy.

I donate them, I am sure they don't get to sell them for a fortune bit I know a lot of people hit Goodwill for fabric they can repurpose so even if they aren't perfect it might help someone.

At the end of the season, I typically go through and give my SIL the good stuff and I bring the rest to those bins at the supermarket.

Put patches on the knees! You can get these cute fabric patches in the shape of cars, robots, stars, flowers, stars etc to cover up the holes.

Don't donate clothes with holes. Just use them for rags or toss them.
