A has been not a great sleeper, averaging 9.5 hours in a 24 hour period. He's 5 weeks today, so I know he's on the low end of "normal."
I stopped drinking my one 8 oz daily cup of coffee in Sunday, which magically has corresponded to more sleep for him. We also started swaddling again, and getting into more of a routine/schedule, so I'm not sure what did the drink. Of course, it could all just be random. I also think caffeine has a fairly lengthy half-life in babies, so I don't know when it would have left his system.
Have you noticed any correlation in your caffeine intake with your EBF baby?
