Coke or dr pepper. Never Pepsi. But I really prefer tea over everything, so I only order soda if they don't fresh brew their tea.

i was craving a coke baaaaad during labor. dh had to run and get it right after delivery. i would have been MAD if he brought me pepsi.

Diehard Diet Pepsi! I can totally tell the difference. If Pepsi isn't available, I will drink Diet Coke (unless Diet Dr. Pepper is available). I prefer dark sodas over light sodas.
I also LOVE soda fountain drinks over bottled sodas. Weird, I know.

@Mae: I don't know, I think if you asked people if they prefer Coke or Mountain Dew (a Pepsi product), the poll results would be quite different! Haha.

@wonderstruck: not many places offer that regardless though. I'd say 1/10 at best, so it isn't really in the running. Also I think Mountain Dew is not evenly loved throughout the population. It seemed way more popular with younger ppl and in the south.

Coke all the way! If they only have Pepsi I will order something else. Because Pepsi is gross.

@Mae: What?! I guess as a Coke supporter you don't know this, haha, but Mountain Dew is offered at nearly every place that sells Coke products. I have worked in both Michigan and Ohio and we couldn't keep it stocked in our break room vending machine because nearly all of the employees were addicted to it.
ETA: But okay, I checked, and Coke is the #1 best-selling pop as of 2012. But Mountain Dew has consistently been in the Top 4 after Coke, Diet Coke, and Pepsi. And wow, I just realized how ridiculously passionate I feel about a kind of pop...I need to tone it down. Haha

@wonderstruck: lol weird. I've worked in several restaurants and never seen it carried! And I only know 1 person (post college) who drinks it. She is totally addicted but I don't know anyone else even willing to drink it!

I don't drink soda too often and if I do, I really don't care. I like Coke and Pepsi for different reasons (Coke is crisper to me, Pepsi is sweeter) and it's kind of a nice surprise when I ask for it. But again, I usually opt for water or sweet tea.

I don't drink a lot of soda (or fizzy drink, as we call it here) but would take a Coke over a Pepsi every time.
