With this arctic blast that the whole country is experiencing , does anyone else feel trapped at home? I don't dare to take my 3 week old outside in the 10 degree (F) weather. I did recently buy the 7 am enfant igloo sack but am still worried abt the temps

It rained hard the first few weeks after my baby was born--it sucked, I feel you. She didn't seem very waterproof
I did try it get people to come visit me, but I felt very trapped.

Me me. Mine is seven weeks and I'm in TN, so it's not the temp as much as the constant cold rain and the fact that I have a toddler too. Outside/the park is one of the only places I'm brave enough to take them both by myself.

Us! I think our windchill is -2 right now. I was surprised we didn't have a delay today!

I had summer babies and had the opposite problem- it was too hot to take them out! Either way, being stuck inside is really hard. Can you bring her somewhere like a mall to walk around or a museum or somewhere similar where you guys can walk around a bit but it's not as cold out?

Yes! It's not even that cold her, and she's a little older (4 months) but it feels selfish to take her out just for the sake of going out. If we needed to go somewhere I wouldn't feel as guilty.
She was born in the summer but we were able to go out on all but the hottest days. Winter is not going to be so fun. I'm predicting a lot of trips to target.
