How did your family react when you told them you were pregnant? Did you get it on video? I think that would be such an amazing thing to have!

I used to watch the YouTube videos allll the time before we told our parents, and they always made me cry! I filmed my FIL and step MIL finding out, and I'm glad I did! They had such funny reactions and his dad cried.

I don't know how my family will react, probably with mostly indifference like when I got engaged. His family is going to be much more excited.

I'm trying to figure out how to tell my parents and just found this thread on HB from a few months ago and watched the videos. TEARS! I must be totally emotional from being pregnant, but these are the cutest!

I've seen all of these before & still cried when i watched them again. I'm obsessed with watching announcement videos.
DH's family wasn't quite as excited as some of the people in these videos. The best reaction was his niece's face as we announced we were pregnant & the she freaked out when we said its twins. She ran over and gave me a huge hug! About half the room was excited the other half went pale lol.
We are telling my family this weekend & I hope to get if on video! Eeek!

Oh yes I admit to watching all these before too. When TTC I used to watch a lot of ultrasound and announcement videos. They're great, and always make me cry!
