Concealer Recommendations? (Oily/acne skin)

Anyone have a concealer that they love? I've been pretty happy with mine (miracle skin treat & conceal- http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?skuId=2260908&productId=xlsImpprod5410023&navAction=push&navCount=1&subdoc=2260908-light&categoryId=cat80024) but at $36 I'm kind of mehhh about buying it again. My weekly "spend" budget is $40 and I hate blowing it on concealer!

My skin is very oily and extremely acne prone, especially while off the pill and preggo. I'm open to drug store brands or higher end. It just needs to be highly pigmented and able to cover blemishes well (I have a tonnnnn) but light enough that I don't feel like I'm spackle-ing my face.

Makeup forever makes a good oil free concealer! My skin was a mess while pregnant and it worked great.

@LazyLightning: where do you get Makeup Forever? is that like an Ulta/Sephora brand? And what kind is it- in a little pot, or tube, etc? (Sorry for 20 questions! )

I just realized its almost as expensive as the one you use now--I was thinking it was cheaper than that! It's oil free tho, which I like. It also lasts a long time (months, and I'm a pizza face).

Do you use foundation (or are you open to using one?). I have oily/acne-prone skin (ugh, almost 32 and still dealing with acne, fun times I tell you, fun times) and I find that using foundation is easier than trying to cover blemishes and spots with concealer.
Back to your actual question

I like Revlon's concealer, it's less than $15. I like Dr. Hauschka products a lot, but they don't make a concealer stick fair enough for me. They are a great company though if you are not totally casper-white like I am.

For foundation I like Revlon and Chanel, which are about $15 and $50, respectively.

Personally, I didn't care for Makeup Forever makeup at all, but I know many people have luck with that brand!

@LazyLightning: I will totally go to Sephora and test this out! I'm willing to pay the $ for something good, I would give my current one a "B" (color isn't 100% and they only have 3 options, and it could be a little better coverage) so I'm willing to spend that for something that actually WORKS. Definitely going to go check it out! Thanks!

@yoursilverlining: I have a Lancome foundation I love, but I find any foundation to be heavy and hate how it feels on. I work from home so I like to have concealer I can put on and then use a lighter tinted moisturizer/BB cream/bare minerals (whatever I have laying around) for when I go out but don't need a full face of makeup. But I need the concealer or I would scare people with my pizza face!

Where do you get the Dr. Hauschka?

@kjpugs: You can get Dr. Hauschka products at Whole Foods and also some salons. I think the concealer is around $30? It's not cheap stuff, but it's also really good.

I use Physicians Formula, it's a double ended one that has skin color on one side and green on the other. I haven't used it on acne, but it completely erases the dark circles under my eyes and the redness around my mouth. It's about $10 at target.

I know you said you are looking or a concealer, but I wanted to put a plug in for Orgins Stay Tuned Foundation. I'm super acne prone too and it's the best foundation I've ever tried! It feels super light on, and doesn't get oily (bare minerals would make my forehead feel like an oil slick), and it covers really well. The first time I wore it my husband couldn't believe how great my skin looked, he didn't even realize it was make up!

Another vote here for Makeup Forever... It's pricey but a teeny bit goes a long way (I use a tiny, pin head size drop in the morning for under eye and a couple blemishes). I think my tube has lasted me at least 6 months.

I use the Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer. Price wise, it's awesome. It will cover just about anything. Only $6. I've found when using it you only need a speck for your whole face. It will last forever.

It's labeled heavy duty for a reason though. It feels a bit heavy, but to me it's not oily. My dark circles are no joke...this covers them completely!

I use Laura Mercier Secret Concealer but I don't know if it would be pigmented enough. I have also heard really good things about the Amazing Cosmetics concealer @ Sephora. It's pricier than the one you are using though, but they have a smaller size for less.

So, I'm not usually one to buy drug store make-up but a really great make-up artist that I know (who uses high quality, expensive stuff usually) recommended that I try olay + covergirl stick concealer balm because it has squalane which is suppose to be ah-mazing for your skin. Typically squalane is found in super expensive products but this was less than $10.
