If you sell your baby clothes, would you sell your good baby clothes (Gap, Janie and Jack) at a consignment sale or would you try to sell them on Craigslist to make more on them?

Do you have a local moms Facebook group or listserv you could use to sell them? I'm part of something like this and it is a great way for me to sell new/barely used premium baby items. Somehow there's just a greater sense of trust, since people post under their real FB profiles, and people seem willing to pay a bit more for quality and that sense of trust that things are as the seller presents them.

@mediagirl: I Sell consignment but on a Just between Friends sale so I can price it myself and then get 70% of that profit back. The local consignment store does differentiate price between brands but I think still generally prices stuff low.

I sold mine at a just between friends sale, where I could price it myself. It wasnt worth the hassle of Craigslist for me.....and everything sold at the sale

I would do either a resale FB group or here on HB. Consignments price low and take a percentage!

I try to avoid Craigslist since I can't deal with flaky people and also don't really want random people to know where I live. I have sold a bunch of my stuff on Thredup.. you don't get much for it though. I need to investigate the FB groups you all are talking about and see if there's one in my area!
