2 nights in a row, we have found a visitor in our bed in the middle of the night. No crying, yelling or other noises. She just gets out of bed, opens her door, walks into our room and climbs into our bed. Silent as a mouse.
How can I convince her she needs to stay in her bed!?

We have to keep a baby gate on our 3 year old's door and use a Gro clock. When the "sun" comes up at 7:00 it's her signal that she can get up.

I'd try to see what it is that is causing her to wake, maybe she needs to go to the bathroom, maybe she hears a noise?
It's hard to solution when you don't know what the cause of the problem is, at least, I find it to be.

@looch: she comes into our room, climbs into bed and goes back to sleep. I think she wants to be with us. We've been having other sleep issues recently, too that are really only solved by her being with us. 
@Mamaof2: @meredithNYC: we've debated getting the gro clock, she does follow instructions pretty well. Maybe we'll try the sticker chart.

@mediagirl: if you want a clock I have a stoplight clock that didn't work for either of my kids
Me: is your clock green?
DS/DD: no
Me: Then why are you out of your room?
DS/DD: Umm, I don't know

@mediagirl: I hope you get to the bottom of it, we've not been able to, my son is 4 and no amount of reward charts will motivate him to change behaviours.

@mediagirl: When this started happening with us, we realized that we can not give in. We have to walk her back to her room immediately, or it quickly became a pattern. Once she saw she wasn't going to snuggle, she stopped coming in our room. It only took a couple of days.
