I currently have a raging case of Baby Fever! Mr. H on the other hand, does not! Did any of you have husbands who were a little bit hesitant to even talk about starting a family? How did you win him over?

DH had just as much baby fever as I did with baby #1 so that was easy. But I'm more eager for baby #2. It's not that he doesn't want another baby, he's just more practical about waiting. Our friends just had their second so we went to visit them at the hospital and I made him hold her. I could tell when he was holding her that my trick worked.... he LOVED holding a little itty newborn baby again!
Unfortunately I don't know if that would work for you. I know that before we had LO DH was sooooo awkward around newborns..... he was scared he'd break them.

Condoms.
I was ready a good six months before DH. In that time I eliminated our birth control method (Mirena) and put that responsibility on his shoulders. We made it a month or two with condom use before he was ready.

We'd made a plan when we got married to start trying about 2 years later. A little over a year later, I was ready, but he stuck to the 2 year thing and didn't really warm up to it any earlier, but that's fair, since we did agree. But he's been plenty open to talking about it, just not ready to start until now. -
@oliviaoblivia: That was pretty much what got mine going too.
I was having too many BC side effects, and so I told him if he wanted to prevent pregnancy it was up to him.That lasted all of about 2 nights.
