Sometimes I wonder if my LO is too dependent on skin to skin contact to stay asleep. He seems to know the minute I bring him back to his crib and wakes up. Also If I ever need to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, you need to either wake up your SO or put him in his crib in case they may fall off the bed. Sometimes, bringing them back to the crib, at least for me, caused him to wake up.

Earlier on, he would sleep in crib then I would bring him back later to nurse and we'd wake up together. Now he refuses to be in his crib and basically cosleeps with us exclusively.

@littlebittyhouse: DS didn't sleep through the night until after her turned 9 months old. He was breastfed throughout the night, was refusing bottles during the day while I was at work. It was great cosleeping, we both got as much rest as we could.
Now at 13 months DS falls asleep on his own (weaned around 11 months). Every so often he'll wake up at 4/5am. I usually just bring him to bed with me so he's comforted and again, we both get a bit more sleep before I head out to work.

I honestly can't imagine him sleeping in his own bed early on. I would've been up and walking around the house to nurse every 2/3 hours and then trying to fall back asleep and be at work at 8am?? Would never ever happen. I probably would've lost my job.
