E has recently developed some congestion, and we have been treating with saline spray and a humidifier. Occasionally, he will cough, a sharp staccato sound. We saw a lactation consultsnt who is also a PNP yesterday, and she wasn't concerned about his upper respiratory "junkiness".

But today, he seems hoarse and as a result, his cry seems weaker. I would take him straight to the ER if he wasn't eating as well or if he seemed lethargic. But the weak, hoarse cry is unsettling. Anyone have a LO with this before?
