We started giving R cows milk last Sunday with her meals. Just to introduce it so she starts getting use to it She only drinks 2-3 ozs a day at the most. She only gets it at dinner on day care days. But wth that ice/snow she was home for three days with us. So she got it more.
But has been popping 3-5 times a day. They are solid, so it isn't diarrhea. She seems sensitive when trying new foods. Could this be it?

Not sure if it's the cow's milk, but DS poops 5-6x a day too! He's a pooping machine!

This may be TMI but cows milk usually makes me need to go soooo, I don't see why it couldn't possibly do the same for R.

This happened to my LO. I asked the doctor and he said some babies had an increase in poop and some were constipated when they started cow's milk. She was pooping like five times a day for two weeks and then she adjusted!

@BelugaBean: Thanks!! Hopefully it will settle down. I can usually catch it fast at home but it is harder at day care cause she is fine with poop in her diaper. So she has a bad rash now cause she went 4 times there yesterday.

I've noticed ever since starting M on cow's milk 2 months ago that she goes at least 2-3 times a day, every day. Sometimes 4. She was constipated in the beginning, but still going at least that amount every day - it was just a chore for her to do so.

LO did not experience this, but my nephew did. so they had to introduce it pretty gradually.

I just introduced whole milk to J today, so I'll let you know if I see a poop increase!
