I just noticed our toddler has cracked, dry skin between and under her toes. Not sure if it's fungal. Thoughts? So far we just put coconut oil on her feet ... I wrote our doc, but I'm not sure we will hear back til Monday.

@littlejoy: My DD gets the same thing. Our doctor said it was fungal and gave us a cream to clear it up.
For us it is because daycare requires that DD wear indoor shoes at all times but she has such sweaty feet that this happens!

@mrswin: We assume it's from her rainboots (we are in the PNW). She doesn't wear them all day, but she likely wears her sweaty socks at school all day.

@littlejoy: the pharmacy may have something over the counter you can use.

My husband had it and DD has it too.
@mrswin: we found that good leather shoes help a ton!

My son had something like this on his big toe. The first doctor said it was fungal but that cream did nothing. The second said it was excema and to put Vaseline on it, which cleared it right up.

Thanks! We used some fungal cream, and we are also alternating coconut oil + lavender. Still waiting to hear back from the doc. I'm sure it's from her feet being soggy in her rain boots. I'm going to try to find wool socks for school. Rainboots are a must in the PNW.
