If your baby is crawling, are you decorating your tree as usual?
I was thinking about skipping ornaments all together and just doing a cute bunting/flag banner. Seems much safer and more stress-free to me!

We're not doing a tree this year I don't think... nowhere to put it... but last year I nannyed an LO who was 7-9 months around christmas time and he was always eating the pine needles and pulling the ornaments off! It was a hassle to keep him away from the tree. I decided this year it wasn't worth it with our LO anyway. I don't want him pulling the tree on top of himself (our cat did that the last two years).

LO isn't crawling just yet but we bought a bunch of plastic decorations from Ikea and we also have a some really cute felt character decorations from last year. But the plan is to have a real tree and a fake one, our fake one is pretty small though.
I'm just waiting to buy lights so I can put it up already!

We have a toddler and put up a 4-foot tree with kid-friendly (non-breakable) ornaments. Truth be told, he really doesn't mess with it!

I decided against a tree this year because my dang cats would probably destroy it. But I hung ornaments on my curtains. They probably end 2.5-3 feet off the ground but high enough for a baby to not be able to reach.

My daughter has never touched the tree so we decorate and put one up every year as normal. I have to muster up some energy to start decorating this year!

Oh yes! My LO is crawling and loves the tree! He is mesmerized by the lights and colors! He does try to pull down the ornaments and tries to eat the tree. We just took off the ornaments at the bottom and are constantly pulling him away from the tree! It IS a hassle but I wanted to have a tree no matter what this year!

I haven't decided, yet. We'll probably get a tree this weekend, and honestly, I just feel too lazy to decorate it fully, anyways. But I can already tell it's going to turn into a fight to get him to leave it alone. We'll be lucky if he doesn't try to climb the thing.
