    We have a bedding set from PB Kids but it came with a quilt (which we hung on the wall) instead of a bumper. I also bought an additional fitted sheet.

    We bought a set and we have used it all. We used the bumpers until she was 9 months old and learned to stand and now that she's older, she sleeps with the blanket. It was worth it to us and we used it.

    I also have about three fitted sheets and a crib skirt. We only use sleep sacks now but I have been gifted about ten baby blankets so far so we will be ready once the time comes!

    @mrs. bird: Totally adorable!

    Thanks to everyone who commented! I'm so glad I asked this question before buying a whole set. I ended up following everyone's advice, and bought the crib skirt, sheets and I found a blanket off etsy that coordinates with my theme. Thanks!!!!

    No, I didn't spend big money on a set - I think they're a crazy waste of money. You don't use the bumper or half of it. I bought some pretty fitted sheets, my mother made me a simple but beautiful crib skirt, and that was it.

    Nope! I thought I'd rather use the money for something else. My mom bought us a crib skirt but I didn't like how it looked on our crib and we don't use bumpers. I buy the target Circo crib sheets. So cute! Save your money

    I have a complete set from Pottery Barn Kids (with blanket and bumpers) that I wanted and love. I bought the blanket because it is large enough to be used with a toddler bed. I also bought 3 sets of matching toddler sheets/pillow cases as well.
