I am trying to find some crib bedding (bumper, skirt and sheets) for DD#2's nursery.
So far I am striking out at the normal spots (PBK, Land of Nod, BBB and Babys R Us)....looking for some other places to check out?
Trying to find nice cream/gold sheets or fairy themed sheets!

MIL made our crib skirt. Our sheets are Sweet Kyla's lifetime crib sheets...they aren't fancy patterns but they are very soft, durable, and wash really well. It was important for me to have good crib sheets since they spend so much time with their delicate skin on them!

@rosegold: I know! Thats where K's bedding is from that I love but nothing is speaking to me there now! I kind of like the gold dot but I wish the gold was softer!

I came super close to ordering bedding from Carousel Designs (http://www.babybedding.com/) but then my mom made a blanket so I just went with plain sheets. But I thought they had some really nice neutral designs, and the prices weren't totally out of control.
ETA: You can also design your own!

We skipped bedding sets and chose some cute crib sheets on Amazon. But we did not use a bumper or quilt or anything, so a full bedding set would have been wasted on us.

If you have a sewing machine it's actually very easy to make crib sheets. I couldn't find any flannel ones that I liked for my son's room so I made my own (I had to buy a sewing machine so it didn't exactly work out cheaper, but I have/will get a lot more use out of that).

@erinbaderin: I am sewing challenged but my mom is decent. I asked her and she seemed overwhelmed - so I backed off. If I find something I love at JoAnns I may have to strong arm her....
