Does the weekender have outside pockets? I have the regular hobo which looks very similar to the San Ysidro, and none of the inside pockets can hold diapers or wipes-- they are too small, and I use the bottle pocket for bottles. The outside pockets are perfect for diapers, wipes, and the changing pad. I use the clear pockets for little things that would normally be rattling around inside the bag or in their own individual little bags-- extra clothes, snacks, my own makeup items, med supplies like bandaids and advil, etc.

That being said, I use disposables so I'm not sure what you need in terms of cloth diapering.

@anbanan15: I would say definitely go for the weekender then. My regular hobo cannot fit anything bulky in the main cavity of the bag. I can put a little cooler bag with a couple of bottles in it, but even that's a super tight fit.

Get the weekender! I am dying to get it as a carry on travel bag for myself!
The company should also make "upgrade" labels for big girl stuff, like makeup to extend the life of the bags!

I bought the backpack in black for my son to take to daycare, it's bright pink inside, LMAO! I can't send him with that, or can i?

I had the idea that it would be easy for my husband to find stuff it is was labelled. I would ask him to get the "xyz" from the bag, and his first question is "where is it?"

I plan to take it with us when we go to Walt Disney World. I figure with the pockets it will be easy for the security guards to give it the once over.

@anbanan15: I am so excited for you. I DEMAND A PICTURE as soon as it comes in!! Gilt's shipping is SLOWWW (torture!!!) but the savings is worth it.

@mrs. wagon: really?? Are you serious??? I haven't even taken the labels out of the baggies because I took one look at it and knew it was too big for me. It's sitting in my closet and never been used. The tags are still on it! Have you seen it in real life?

@Mrs. High Heels: Oh man, Wagon Sr. will kill me. But I really really want the weekender. If it's still got the tags can you return it?? if not, list it in the classifieds thread!! We can talk there!! No, I haven't seen it in real life... but I have the regular Hobo and it's not big enough for full days out on the weekends for us

@Mrs. High Heels: I love the retro too! I love the navy with red accent. But I decided on the hobo because of the handles situation.

@anbanan15: that's how it was for me. I wanted to find a way to love it because DH gifted it to me as a bday gift! I was hoping it would be perfect for our trip to Mexico next month with the kids, but i realized that its going to be so big as a carry on that I won't have much leg space left if I bring it with me.

@mrs. wagon: can't return bc on Gilt it said its non-returnable... I've been thinking about listing it on classifieds but its pretty big to ship! I'll give it a try! Haha, I remember you saying you're an overpacker so this bag might be the perfect weekend bag for you. I am an extreme minimalist so that's probably why this bag seemed so overwhelming. I currently use the Skip Hop Versa and its just big enough for a day out with my two kids, but it's bursting at the seams. I would love to find a bag just a tad bigger than that!
