Day 1 of my step kids staying with us for a month and DH and MIL just had to rush my seven year old SS off to urgent care!
DH was upstairs with me at the in laws while I nursed LO. In laws were apparently letting SS run around like crazy with their dogs and he fell and split his head open on a wall in their living room! So much blood! Poor SS looked so scared! MIL just wanted to put a bandaid on it but it definitely looked like it needed stitches!
They are still in the waiting room so far ..... What a start to our visit!

Oh no! Head wounds always look so much worse and bleed so much more. Still a good idea to get it looked at.

I once knocked myself out on a grandfather clock (yes, I am THAT much of a klutz) and although the cut itself (on my forehead) wasn't bad there was so much blood...hopefully it's the same for your SS! I hope he's okay!

They are in a room waiting for a doctor. SS was doing sit ups (why? Lol) and only rated his pain a 3. Their mom didn't send their insurance cards with them so DH is paying out of pocket. Hopefully they are done soon and this is the only injury we experience!

DH just texted! SS has to get stitches after all! Poor thing!
