I went to pick up the paperwork from our daycare center the other day and was chatting with the director about the things I'd need to bring. When she got to wipes, she mentioned that they use three for each diaper change - one for baby's tush, one for baby's hands, and one for their hands - so I shouldn't be surprised if we are going through them faster than we might at home.

Stupid me...It didn't really dawn on me until later that maybe I should have clarified their diapering & handwashing procedures. Could this mean that they aren't washing after each change? (It's a widely known chain daycare, so I think they'd have some rigid corporate policies as well in addition to health code requirements.) A friend goes to a different location and has said that they use rubber gloves there and were not told anything about 3 wipes per diaper change.

Should I be concerned, or am I over-thinking this?
