We love our daycare and our son attending there as an infant but i"m not sure if this change bothers me. They just redid the infant rooms over holidays and my daughter started there at the new year. She's 4.5 months and most are similar in age. I noticed that there are no longer swings or bouncy seats or exersaucers.
I dont mind not having swings (they never had batteries anyways and couldn't have cords). But the close to the ground basic bouncy seats was always nice that a teacher would be rocking and feeding one baby and bouncing a second baby facing her on the floor. So it felt like that second baby was getting "attention" even though not being held.
Now they just have cribs to sleep in, one small play mat on the floor and the rest just carpeting. Would this bother you? Would you say something? Is there logic/research to why they no longer have these items?
