What time does your daycare or preschool offer snacks and lunches?
M is moving to the 1's room next week (sob) and they do first snack at 9am. We leave our house at 6:40 so she would have to eat breakfast at 6:20 or so to get it in before we leave. I'm trying to figure out our schedule and am wondering what other daycare schedules look like!

We drop off at 6:45 and give her breakfast there. (its good because it gives her something to do).
School Breakfast - 8:00
School Lunch - 11:00-11:30
Nap (11:30-2:30)ish
Snack - 3pm
Snack 5pm

We're out the door by 7:20pm. Morning snack is around 9-9:30, lunch around 11:30-12:00 and afternoon snack around 2-2:30pm.
ETA: she has breakfast at home or sometimes in the car. A small snack when we get home at 5pm then dinner around 6pm.
@mediagirl: do they serve breakfast? Looks like LO will get there in time to partake in breakfast? How bad can breakfast be.......

He wakes up by 6 and has a bottle and often a mini breakfast (cheese, banana) before we leave the house. He is usually at daycare at 7:30.
Breakfast - 8/8:30
Bottle - 9/9:30
Stroller walk - 10/30:30
Lunch - 11:30
Bottle - 12:30/1
Nap - 1-3
Snack - 3:30
Dinner is then around 5:30/6 at home.

Are you worried about it being a long stretch of time between when she eats breakfast and has the first snack at 9:00? Would it be possible for you to bring her breakfast to daycare and let her eat it there?
Xander is only 3.5 months, so I haven't had to deal with this yet, but when my friend drops off her LO at daycare (her LO is 14 months), she brings her breakfast with her and her LO eats breakfast at daycare. I'm wondering if this might be an option that works for you?

Our schedule:
6 am wakeup, 10 ounces milk
6:30, arrive at my parents house, usually has an applesauce pouch, sometimes a graham cracker
7:45, arrive at day care, has cheerios with milk or mini bagel with cream cheese
9:00 snack, usually a yogurt
11:30, lunch pastina with cheese or chicken nuggets with ketchup
3:00, afternoon snack after nap, fruit, peanut butter, crackers
5:30 dinner

11:30-1:30 nap
2:00 pm snack
And he is starving at 4:30 when I pick him up so we have a snack in the car and eat dinner around 6.

@regberadaisy: breakfast is that morning snack. In the infant room, they fed on your schedule so she could eat at 8. In this new room, all the kids eat together at a big table, at the same time (9)

@Adira: I might ask if she can eat breakfast when she gets there since she does get there so early and is there way before the other kids. There might be one other kid there at 7 but I'm sure that wouldn't be a deal breaker.

@mediagirl: Yeah, definitely ask! I bet they won't mind! Ours has a big table for everyone to eat together too and I know they have snacks and lunch together, but I've seen a couple kids who are there early have breakfast that their parents provided. I hope it works out for you!

in the 12-18 month room, I get LO up at 7am, breakfast at 715am, and he's done at 730am (we do hard boil egg, fruit and pre-made frozen pancakes or toast). We head out and will be at school at around 745am. He will have his first morning snack at 8:30am.
His schedule at school as follows:
8:30am snack
11:15am lunch
12:00pm-3pm nap
3:45pm snack
Then we pick up at around 4:30pm and dinner at 5:15pm.
ETA: some of LO's schoolmates I think their parents ask them if they can give them some cheerios at school. They were earlier than us, and they are munching cheerios when we got there. So maybe that's an option you can work out with your school?

We split breakfast in half and C gets half at home (5:45am) and half at daycare (6:45am) because otherwise he would get two breakfasts (other kids eat breakfast at daycare that is brought from home and C would throw a fit if he couldn't "join" so they were giving him a second breakfast). Morning snack is ~9am and lunch is at noon. Afternoon snack is usually around 3:30pm and we serve dinner around 5:30 or 6pm.

Breakfast is served before we ever drop DD off, so it must be early... my guess is maybe 7 AM.

Our daycare is very flexible. If the kids don't finish eating breakfast, which they usually don't, we send it to school and they eat it there at 9am when all the other kids are having a snack. They have lunch at 12 and a snack at 4.
