My daughter moved to the 1's room a few weeks ago. One difference in this room from the other is the teachers don't say much. They also write very little on her daily paper. All it says is something like:

Snack: Ate all
Lunch: Ate some
Snack: Ate all

Then it has the place for diapers and they note the time of each diaper change.

When I pick her up, the teachers just smile at me. I ask them how her day was and they say, "Good." That's all I get.

I'm kind of annoyed. The ladies in the infant room were very hands on and attentive and always gave me information about her day, told me what she had been up to, etc. I don't need it written down but I would love more than just "good" as a response!

Any thoughts on what I can do to get more information from them? I understand there is a larger child to teacher ratio in this room but they spend all day with them, they should be able to tell me SOMETHING about her day, right?
