I've managed to get a day off next week that DH also has off (that's a small miracle), and we plan to check out daycares. Because it's unusual for us both to have a week day together, we want to get in as many tours as possible. We have a list of about 10 possible places.
How long do you think we should plan for each tour to be? Is it crazy to hope to get four or five knocked out in one day?

I think we did 5 or 6 in a day. If I remember right, we started at 9am and had our last tour at like 4:30pm. I think we scheduled 1.5 hours between each appointment, and that worked out well.

I'd say each tour lasted around 45 minutes to an hour. Depending on travel time between centers, I'd budget an hour 15 to an hour and a half between appointment start times.

DH is a major talker and things with him sometimes take longer than they should, so maybe I'll have to warn him to stick to the topic so we can get through quickly. There are two areas that most of them are located in, so it would be great if we can knock out one area next week and just have a few left for one more day.
I was afraid it could take weeks if we could only get 3 or 4 in a day.
