Is your LO having a Valentines party at daycare / school? I'm struggling to come up with something festive that isn't candy. Pinterest is failing me! LOL

What about rice krispy treats? Still a sweet, but not as bad maybe??? lol Or fruits cut into heart shapes (like kiwis, strawberries, pears) or a parfait of some sort that's pink/red in color?

Cheese cut out heart cook cutters. Strawberries put together with a toothpick to look like hearts.
We can't bring anything homemade so we can't do anything like this.

@regberadaisy: I think I'm going to do this with clementines.

@Alivoo01: they're celebrating eating healthy in February and have asked parents not to bring in sweets for the party! Which I'm all for. I was leaning towards Greek yogurt with honey and raspberries. So a parfait is a good idea!
@Smurfette: cute! I saw heart shaped cheese and crackers on Pinterest. I'll have to see if I have a cutter small enough.
@BabyBoecksMom: I already have an idea for the "Valentine". I'm looking for an edible treat idea to bring in for the actual party, to eat during the party at school.
@mediagirl: I love this one too! And cuties have been really sweet this year!
@Mamaof2: I tried jigglers over the summer and epic fails

@regberadaisy: we are doing a breakfast themed party for my DD's class . Strawberry, blueberry, granola and yogurt parfaits, pastries, oJ. And one treat.

@T-Mom: oh that's an idea! Maybe I will suggest the theme to her teachers. Not sure I want to solely take on the costs of making yogurt parfaits for 20 kids!

@yoursilverlining: cute!!! I'm doing a variation of that but with band aids for the kids valentines. I'm looking for food ideas for the class party. Sorry, I realize my initial post was a bit vague.

@regberadaisy: yeah we have a signup for the various ingredients and the yogurt is funded by class funds. But that's what we usually do for parties at her school. Would be pricey for one person to fund.
