We got a letter from B yesterday, telling us "he has talked with his teachers and he will be moving up a classroom." It was the sweetest note ever.. I totally cried reading it... So, question.... What do I get his teachers as a gift? He was there a short time because of our daycare drama this summer but they really helped him turn the corner on his biting issue and showed him love after his terrible daycare... Please help... I'd like to keep it max $50 a teacher

Probably generic but how about Starbucks giftcards? I'm glad B had good experiences with them!

@littlek: I would stick with a giftcard as well, Starbucks (although not all people drink coffee), Target, Barnes and Noble, ect.and stick it in a card that B colored!
The radio station I listen too was just talking about this topic this morning & teachers were callign in and begging to steer clear of candles, picture frames, other nicknacks because they have so many of them already!

The most popular gifts that I have given in the past few years are target gift cards and bath and body works hand soap sets (kitchen scents that everyone likes).

my mom taught preschool for many years and loved anything she received..but had a soft spot for gift cards with a special note
you could have him make them cards to go with a gift card!
unless you know for sure that they have a specific scent or love, I'd avoid anything personal..just my experience. My mom got a lot of scented candles or bath and body that she couldn't use (allergic to scents).

@littlek: I think target is safe! you can food shop there, clothing, fun things, books and cds, movies, starbucks, etc.

@littlek: I wouldn't do Starbucks. I know I don't drink coffee, so I would be bummed with a Starbucks card. I drink tea but I don't go there and get it enough.
