My daughter (17 months) was up at 7. Not bad, considering her normal wake time is 7:30! She's sick, though, so she probably needed the sleep.

Nope. She's asleep still (630) because she was worn out from trick or treating and no nap. She did get up in the middle of the night screaming for me (probably due to sheer exhaustion and the fact I've been in and out due to baby sister still being in the hospital) but luckily my mom is here helping us, so she got her to calm down. But of course, I'm up at 630, which defeats the whole purpose of her sleeping in.

We stayed up an hour past bedtime and she woke up at 530. We discovered Dunkin Donuts opens at 530, so we got some big coffees. We have a long day of church ahead of us.

Ugh, yes - exactly an hour before his typical time, so he was awake at 5:00. Thankfully he's 3 now, so we tucked him in on the couch with a blanket and some Netflix for another hour or so of sleep!

DS woke at his normal time of 6:15 so new time 5:15. He went to bed late lady night too. Hopefully this means a good nap.
Luckily it was DH's morning to get up with him, so I'm still in bed.

We were up way too late last night and DS is still snoozing away at nearly 7 (new time.) I had to wake him up for a dream fees because I started leaking.

We are so lucky that LO has been sleeping about 11.5 hours from when she goes to bed no matter what. She went to bed at 9:30pm because of Halloween (plus I knew it was DST) and woke up at 8am (9am to her). I'll take it!
I'm a little nervous that she'll be cranky to go to bed what feels later to her tonight but we're just going to go with it and hope she adjusts.

Our 2yo had been sleeping 8:30-5:30 for weeks so we were terrified of the 4:30 wake ups come DST. So this week we proactively put him to bed closer to 8:45/9pm and was able to shift his wake up to 6/6:30am this week. Last night he was exhausted after Halloween festivities and he passed out at 9:15pm. Slept in til 6:30 this morning (the old 7:30)!!!!!
Of course, we also have a 6 week old so were up multiple times last night, but still got to "start" our day at a reasonable hour!

We started trying to put our son to bed 5-10 minutes later for the last few nights and naps, and the result was he was up at 6:30 (7:30 old time). Works for me! Hoping he'll adjust back to waking up around 7 soon. We'll definitely be doing this type of adjustment every fall-gradual seems to work for him!

Yup! I heard her singing in her bed at 5:44 and ignored her. Then all of a sudden she started yelling, "I pooped mama! I pooped!" So of course I jumped out of bed to get her....no poop, just pee (in her diaper) but shucks, now she knows hat to say to get me out of bed, lol.

Man, I am so grateful. E woke up at 5:45 saying he needed to poop (and then I practically yanked him off because I was about to pee myself!), then told me he needed to go lay back in bed because the red light on his alarm clock was still on. I tucked him back in...not sure if he actually went back to sleep, but he stayed in bed until the light turned to green at 6:30. Basically just like every other day, lol!

@buttermilk: Nope, definitely not terrible!
Yesterday I had DH get up with our 12 week old.but he stayed up late last night...and we were up every hour or so... I just got up b/c LO and was grunting and fussing-- now he's restless but asleep in my arms... So tired!

Yup! DS woke up at "6:30am" and promptly came and woke me up. Literally telling me "mama, wake up!" I was wondering why he was up so dang early then realized DST. Sigh.
So when 6:30am rolled around today, he was up and ready for daycare which is a change since he's normally still sleeping during daycare drop off!

Nope I think it was the longest that both kids ever slept. It was 8am until everyone was awake! We seem to have really tired them out successfully the day before
