Anyone want to go to a Smithsonian museum with me (and my 3 month old)?
Weekday or Sunday? (There is no parking on Saturdays!)

i would be up for this! i don't have a little one yet (due in january), but would love to meet up with some bees! sundays would work best for me, but i won't hold up the group if people would rather do a weekday.

I'd love a DC meetup! There are lots of folks in the NoVa, DC, MD area.
I can do Fridays or weekends, but not other weekdays.
Also, for when your 3 month old is older, the National Building Museum is the BEST. Esp for toddlers.

I can do either. Weekday would probably be best since sunday is football fun day!

@Lozza: the building museum is total awesome sauce! we had a blast there!
i'd love to do a meet up! i can do weekdays after 12:30 or weekends, too!

@Mrs. Cowgirl: Have you ever been to the National Aquarium in Baltimore? It's kind of far, but it's another great one for toddlers and preschoolers. I definitely recommend going first thing in the morning if you go on a weekend... it gets crazy packed in the afternoon.

@Lozza: we haven't been yet because we weren't ready to shell out all the money unless we knew cb could handle being there and enjoy it for at least a few hours! it's definitely on our to-do list this winter when we need more indoor activities!

I'm not a momma, but would love to meetup! weekdays or weekends work fine for me!

@Mrs. Cowgirl: We went with two toddlers, 17 months and 21 months, and they lasted almost four hours! (There are a couple cafe areas inside, so we took a lunch break). They both stayed up a couple hours past their usual nap times, and then proceeded to sleep for the rest of the afternoon
Kids under 3 are free, so we bought a couples' membership that pays for itself in just two visits. (Though parking is ridiculously expensive, sadly)

@pastemoo: If you want to figure out a date and time, you can set up a poll with doodle.com- we use it for scheduling work meetings, and it's an easy way to schedule without folks needing to weigh in through emails or in a forum.

@Lozza: oh man! i wish i knew that kids under 3 were free! sadly, cb just hit 3 on sunday, so we'll have to pay now. oh well! i'm just so cheap when it comes to admission prices...the free admission to the smithsonian museums has totally spoiled me!

I'm in Richmond, VA but depending on when you did a meet up I'd be game!!!

Cool. And.... outlet shopping meetup always possible from Richmond. Potomac Mills anyone?
I'll see if I can set up a poll with dates. YAY!
And you don't have to bring your baby (unless you're pregnant, then you pretty much have to).

Oh... let me just do a hellobee poll--the doodle one is asking for your email addresses.

Alright so the turnout was going to be small--but 2 people can't come as of tonight. I am canceling for tomorrow. Let's do a weekend in October.
