    @pwnstar: congratulations!! So exciting!

    So I don't have quite as exciting news, but it turns out I did ovulate this month (was my first Clomid cycle and assumed I wasn't going to ovulate after I hadn't by CD18). Well, I kept temping and using OPKs and finally got a positive on 12/20! (CD25 - super early for me ). I'm now 3dpo and we hit O-2, O-1, and O, so fingers crossed! I guess I could still be in the December POAS group, but I will be 10dpo on 12/31 so I'm going to try to hold out till early January.

    Good luck to those testing next week and happy holidays!

    @pwnstar: Congratulations! I've been ttc since Nov and have been following the POAS boards here, and I have to admit that your story made this crazy ttc lady POAS at CD6 "just in case" I had a fake AF like you. H&H 9 months to you.

    to the rest of the ladies testing, and I'll see the rest of you in the Jan board when it appears.

    @JoJoGirl: Thanks! I don't know wtf happened (other than the unprotected sex part, duh! ). But I guess so!

    @ KitKat: Thank you. That's such a great update! Good luck!

    @Litebrite: Just when you think it's a zig, you get a zag. Good luck!

    @LCTBQE: Thanks.

    @Mrs. D: *fx* for you!

    @marley: Thanks! I don't chart. Just the CBFM. No wonder it spazzed on me. It was trying to tell me something!

    @Nutella: @catlady: Thank you!

    @pwnstar: maybe I should stop charting. I had a peak reading on 12/18 but my temp never rose. I'm using a new thermometer but that shouldn't be a reason why my temps are in the high 96-low 97 range after O. I don't think ovulated this month.

    @pwnstar: ok I'm just a creepy lurker here but I had to comment because the SAME thing happened to me a little over a week ago. I tested, certain it would be a bfn, and got super dark lines and 3+. So crazy! Congrats!!

    Fingers crossed that January is very very lucky for you both

    @marley: I hate that you are in the dark about what's happening because of your stupid thermometer! Wonder if your O is super delayed this month? Or yeah, maybe a random anovulatory cycle? Keep us posted

  22. marley

    kiwi / 706 posts

    @LCTBQE: I actually got the Mabis that you recommended. It's got some good reviews but because of the super low temps, I just ordered another thermometer just in case it turns out to be inaccurate. Maybe I just should stop temping. It's super stressful and that's probably not helping things.

  23. LCTBQE

    nectarine / 2461 posts

    @marley: I know you use the cbefm--did it give any indication of an LH surge? Maybe you should just switch to regular-ass wondfo opk strips next month!

    @LCTBQE: yes I had a solid smiley on the 18th.

  25. pwnstar

    @marley: I don't temp. Is getting a CBFM a possibility? It sure helps to take the guesswork out of when you're ovulating and trying to interpret temps.

    @MrsSCB: Ha! At least I'm in good company! I have no idea how someone who is actively TTC could have missed it (and by that I mean me!). I will feel much much better after the Doc tells me everything looks good, but for the time being, I am enjoying having missed a few weeks! Makes the first tri much shorter, which is just fine by me.

    @Mrs. D: *fx* crossed for you!

  26. marley

    @pwnstar: yes, when I first getting the clear blue advanced digital, I was contemplating the monitor. But, my arrogance made me get the digital test because I thought I would get pregnant in less than 3 months, so getting the monitor wouldn't be worth it. I guess I'll buy it when AF shows up. Meanwhile, I just ordered my fifth thermometer.

  27. pwnstar

    pear / 1718 posts

    @marley: I wouldn't call that arrogance. I would call that optimism.

    @pwnstar: OMG congrats! What a great surprise!

    I think I might end up with a CP. I broke down and ordered cheapie opk's which were positive for a couple days and a super super faint FRER but the opk is starting to fade. AF is due Monday if this cycle is similar to previous ones. My cycles have been really long so I expect I'll join the February boards. Hope everyone gets their BFP's before then!

    AF is on her way out! Last cycle we got 2 days worth of BD in because DS has decided he hates sleep.

    He's doing better so DH and I are planning to BD at least every other day starting tomorrow through well past ovulation. I'm not temping so I can't know my O date for sure, but I can make a good guess. My cycle is also 26 days long so I'm not sure if I'm ovulating early (doesn't seem like it) or having a short LP.

    If this cycle doesn't work I'm going to temp for sure to find out...but I don't want to dive into temping again just yet.

    @artsyfartsy:
    Question re: temping. Why did you stop? Did it just not work out for you?

  34. combatlibby

    coffee bean / 45 posts

    @artsyfartsy: We ran into similar issues as far as DS not sleeping this past cycle. He's still having trouble, but sleeps well the first 3 hours. Sleep regressions are always looming! Temping seems to be an impossibility with the constant interrupted sleep, but I heavily relied on the method before we had DS. Hope you have better luck with sleep and BD this cycle!

    @marley: We actually TTC earlier this year and I temped the second month. I wasn't getting a good chart and trying to make sure and temp first thing in the morning with a baby that sometimes didn't let you was a little stressful. I didn't care much for it. We ended up putting off TTC after 2 cycles of trying because DS was getting evaluated for early intervention.

    If this cycle isn't it though I will start again. Just not looking forward to it. Lol

    I know I wasn't supposed to test until the 30th but.... Yesterday I felt so awful, like I was getting the flu. I even threw up twice! I don't feel achy anymore today, but still nauseous so I decided to test even though it's only 8dpo. And... I think I got my first squinter!! I'm so excited and so hopeful, but it's early (AF isn't even due until 13dpo) so I'm trying to stay a bit guarded.
