Who's better at deciphering your toddler's words? LOL I think I'm definitely better than DH at deciphering what LO is trying to say.
This morning took me a few minutes to decipher "construction".

I think I am. But, I am sometimes a know-it-all, too. HA.
I still think it's hilarious how he tries to say kitty. "thikkty".

I would say it's pretty even. We each spend equal time with her, playing and talking to her, so we know which words she's learning from us. I had no idea DH had taught her M&M, so when she was asking for them I no idea what she was asking for. Also, when I put her to bed I sing her 'baby Keira's song', so when DH did it and she kept repeating 'baby', he had no idea what she wanted

@swurlygurl: HAHA we definitely have that happen here too. DH works nights 2x a week and I'm home with her during the week as well so I definitely am around her more.

Definitely me. But there's one word lately that I cannot figure out. He keeps telling us he wants to go to "dalmation." It's definitely a location, but I cannot get it!

DH is actually better than me, she gets mad at me if I don't figure it out by the second time. The other day she was asking if I wanted "linguine" and I had no idea all I could get was the chicken part. Finally DH goes "she wants you to order chicken linguine" and it clicked. (she plays waitress/cook)

We're about equal. We've noticed it's often the person in the other room, not involved in the conversation, that can tell what LO wants most efficiently.
