What's the best in your opinion and why? These are the only two things left on my registry I am having an impossible time deciding on.

I had a plain Columbia diaper bag that met all my needs from birth - 8 months. I had to get a new/bigger one to accomodate LO's growing needs (ie. food for when we're out, some toys/books, EPI pen, etc.) I'm not sure there's a "best".
As for bouncy chair...Sheesh, I thought LO would LOVE hers but she just doesn't like being in one. Can you borrow one to see if your LO even likes it before purchasing one?

@ rubies what larger bag did u get? I am having twins so I need a large nag to start. I was hoping for something light (like a canvas tote) with a few pockets. Any hits would be great since I am on bedrest and can't really shop. Thanks!

@lydg @MS.SK The bouncer was one of the few places DS would sit and not cry when he was a newborn. It was a necessity for us. Any chance you have a children's consignment store nearby? You could buy two used and probably pay less than what you would for one new.
I have two diaper bags, a Vera Bradley diaper bag and a Cindy Tote by Thirty-One. I like them both but definitely use the Cindy Tote more. I like that it's large and zips close. It has two outside pockets that are perfect for bottles and a small pocket on the inside. It works great for us. I've also heard great things about the Organizing Utility Tote which was my next choice.
The VB has lots of pockets, zips close, lots of room, it's cute, and it came with a changing pad. I love it but the only reason I bought it was because I found it for $20. They're over $90 new & That wasn't an option for me. I couldn't justify that price.

@Ms.SK: I am using the skip hop double duo diaper bag for my month old twins. Definitely fits everything you'll need for two.
My babies love the rainforest bouncer. We also have the snug a bunny but I think it's too deep for them.

I would try to find a bouncer chair on craigslist, garage sale, big sale like JBF or MOPS sale or friend/other mom because not all babies like it and I wouldn't pay $80 for a chair for a baby! We got ours as a hand me down, but I would have bought one for $15-$20 on craigslist if I hadn't gotten one.

Oh, and if you have an oversized bag you don't need a bag classified as diaper bag. My bag isn't technically a diaper bag, just a big leather tote and I love it. I also get so many compliments on it. And it's something I will use when he's no longer a baby as well.

We use the sKip Hop Bento and luvvve it. Big enough for cloth diapers but doesn't look bulky. The only thing I dislike is it doesn't stand well on its own so you kind of have to keep it open with one hand. I also use an ll bean tote all the time.

And I agree with @coco bee. The bouncer can def be a sale or kijiji item. They are all the same and easy To clean and soe babies don't love them so don't spend too much $$. My LO loved hers. A basic fisher price with lights and music. And she stared at this one black and white penguin for hours.

Idk about a bouncer chair but I got a miche diaper bag. I think its like $100 to start but after I am done with it as a diaper bag I can still buy another shell and use it as a purse.

We bought our bouncer off kijiji. It was the best $11 we ever spent. LO sits in it a ton and just giggles away!

We have the Snugabunny bouncer and it saved our freaking lives for the first few weeks. Well worth what we paid but we got it on sale on Black Friday last year.
I wanted a diaper bag that looks nice and purse-like but wasn't stupid expensive so I bought this JJ Cole one: http://www.amazon.com/JJ-Cole-Swag-Diaper-Silver/dp/B002U1G3NK/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pdT11_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&coliid=I2P4VB4UHE9IYR&colid=LBWGNOFTN1B0 I LOVE it. It's super cute but plenty big enough. It has so many pockets that I don't even use a lot of them. It comes with a changing mat, paci case, and removable hooks to hang it from your stroller.

Thanks everyone. I keep hearing of the skip hop I am going to google them. Plus look into a large Vera Bradley or LL Bean tote. Would you just buy a changing pad on etsy or have u seen them sold separately?

I had a Laessig diaper bag and we got our bouncy chair from Kid to kid consignment.

Sounds like consignment is the way to go. We have a Once Upon A Child here so I will check out a bouncer chair. Still can't decide on a diaper bag. Tempting to get one with all the bells and whistles, pockets on inside and all that stuff...but I am a pretty practical person so I think $ might be wasted.

we had a fisherprice bouncer for charlie and it was truly one of our most used items. then i bought a used babybjorn bouncer for olive, and love it sooo much more. you can use it longer because it has three height settings. we use it every single day.
diaper bag is so much a personal choice depending on if you're an overpacker, underpacker, budget and style. what is your budget?

@Ms.SK: As you know, I'm expecting twins too. My designated diaper bag is a combo tote/backpack from LLbean. I think it's supposed to be a commuter bag as it has a laptop sleeve inside, but at least one of the reviewers said it was a great diaper bag for multiple kids. I figure if it doesn't work, I can always send it back since their return policy is so generous. My mom also recently bought us the LLBean xlg boat and tote bags with each of the babies names on them, so I figure I'll use those for travel/gear as well.
@lydg: We also have the snugabunny bouncer. It was one of the highest rated on amazon We also have a graco swing bouncer combo. I like having the swing option for just a little more money, but the snugabunny seems a little higher quality for just the bouncer part.

@merry c I was thinking of the LL Bean tote too. It just doesn't have outside pockets. That is the only downside for me. I figured I could buys own "purse" org. to put in the tote. Seems like it might be a good option.

We have a 31 diaper bag, the organizing utility tote. I love it because there are tons of outside pockets so it's great at finding things in a hurry, like bottles.
We honestly just used the bouncer in the bathroom when I needed to put LO down so I can get ready, go to the bathroom, etc. I just found a random one at target.

@mrsbee - no set budget, i will register for it, and if i get it great-if not, i'm not too worried about it. i have some friends' who love the timi & leslie bags, but they don't get great reviews IMO overall on amazon.
thanks for all the input! i still can't seem to decide. i want something that is bouncer, not rocks. the snugabunny bouncer is probably the one I am most leaning towards...anyone have any negatives on it? it is high rated on amazon, but doesn't have as many reviews as the others.

My favorite diaper bag was the petunia pickle bottom boxy backpack, hands down.
My favorite bouncy chair was the fisher price soothing vibrations kind. Returned several and ended up with this due to the number of high reviews on amazon. Loooooove it!!!
