We have one diaper bag. It's a black messenger bag style bag so we both can use it. It's fully stocked and whoever's on Xander duty uses it.

We each have one but now that she is getting bigger and we don't need one as much, or carry as much, we are using his backpack (from REI, not a real diaper bag) more and more.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I like the pockets cause I like to be organized. But he used the backpack from the beginning, but it does have some pockets. But in the beginning he wasn't out a ton with her alone since I was BF.

My husband is at home with DS during the day, and we both have separate diaper bags that we keep packed. Diaper Dude for him, JuJuBe BFF for me

That site doesn't really show the insides, but basically it has 5 inner sections - two smaller pockets that are great for diapers, wipes, other small items, then three larger sections. It also has two front pockets, a side insulated pocket, a back zipper pocket with a changing pad, and two small pockets on the cover.

I have one, I rarely use it and kind of hate it. I'm going to post it to the Classifieds and then Ebay if it doesn't sell. I have a Kate Spade Stevie. Dh has a diaper dude and THAT is what we primarily use. I use a backpack now (a north face recon) if i need it. I usually wear the baby so he always has the bag. and a messenger bag looks stupid on my boobs so....I just hate diaper bags.

We have one black messenger bag that is gender neutral; we wanted one that a)both DH and I could use comfortably, b) that we could use whether we had boys or girls (right now we just have 1 boy). It works perfectly for our needs!

pretty gender neutral but i personally love the style and would have gotten it for just myself also but luckily DH is cool with it! we have gotten many compliments from both my female & male friends and know other couples who share this bag..

fwiw we use the bottom compartment for all our diapering stuff - i like to keep it separate and it leaves so much room in the main compartment for everything else!

The main diaper bag (mine) is a black coach one. This one is fully stocked. We also have a back up green Eddie Bauer one that DH has used when he is solo. This one is rarely stocked. As DS got older, we just used his small backup to carry supplies. And if it's just him that's what we take. Now with 2 kids, we are back to the big bag if we are out with both.

My diaper bag is whatever I decide to use at the moment. i've been using bookbags and regular tote bags these days. When my husband takes her out by himself, he doesn't want to take one of my bags so he'll also use his bookbag too. He just transfers what's already in the diaper bag to his bag.

DS was gifted a diaper dude bag after LO was born from one of our friends

DH told me that if I wanted help carrying the diaper bag then it needed to not look like a purse. So we got the Jujube BFF in Stargyle. Personally we have a hard enough time making sure one diaper bag is stocked. I would have loved one of the bags that's leather and looks like a purse, but it's more useful to me to just have one.

Just one. More my style but not overly girly. Skip hop duo in French stripe. We usually are all together. Half the time I just throw wipes and a diaper in my regular purse and we are on our way!

@hellobear: i found one of these on craigslist for $25 and have been debating getting it! Would you buy it again?

We have a number of diaper bags. My first diaper bag isn't used anymore, but we use the pad with LO at night. I have the Timi & Leslie bag I won here. My SO has a Columbia diaper bag rarely used even when LO was little. Right now, we solely use our Ju Ju Be Right Back for our diaper bag needs.

One bag. Its a backpack so neutral and stocked.

Dh has yet to use his diaper dude, I'm actually shocked to say he's yet to take lo out without me!

I actually have 2 bags-- I started w a Kate spade stevie bag but just got a le sportsac bag that's bigger, has a cross body strap, and all around more practical for my needs. The Kate spade looks prettier but I'm so glad I have the le sportsac now!

If we were starting all over, we would just get the le sportsac in a solid/neutral color rather than have multiple bags

We have one diaper bag, a green Eddie Bauer, fully stocked, that matches DH's style (I think its ugly but don't care, because he uses it more than me, and it is worth it to not have to keep two fully stocked diaper bags). We leave it in the car for shorter outings.
