I use a modified diaper pail. (aka a cheap trashcan from Target,LMBO) I use it since it's cheap. Never tried a wet bag, but it sounds cool b/c you toss it in the washer too.

I'm using a trash can that has a lid, with a bag in it that I can just toss into the washing machine with the diapers. My daughter is exclusively breastfed, and it doesn't stink at all. I also have a small wet bag for the diaper bag.

We use a diaper pail/trashcan that we put a pail liner/wet bag into. That way we don't have to scrub or wash the pail and we can throw the pail liner in with the diapers. My set up is a Diaper Dekor (you can remove the cutter for the bags that are supposed to go with it) lined with Blueberry's diaper laundry bag (ultimately it is a large wetbag, sometimes referred to as a pail liner).

I use a cheapie plastic garbage pail with a lid. I use a wet/soaking system, so a wetbag wouldn't work for us.

We use a cheapo trashcan with a pail liner that goes into the wash with the diapers.
We use wet bags for travel/going out.
