We're thinking of taking a babymoon when I'm 18 or 20 weeks along, and would love your recommendations of the perfect place to visit (especially from the East Coast)!
If you went on a babymoon, where did you go? How far along were you? Would you recommend it?

Oooh, I don't have any suggestions, but I'm going to follow this thread! After I told DH yesterday about being PG, he asked "where should we go on our babymoon?"... I didn't know he even knew the term, haha!

I haven't b/c I have never had a baby! But if we do end up doing this in the future, I would want a really low stress travel plan. For me, that would mean not flying anywhere, because I hate worrying about making connections and all of that.
Living on the east coast means there are lots of places you can get to in a days drive. We did a sweetheart weekend at the Clifton Inn--not cheap, but really excellent. They have package deals, and the town of Charlottesville is fun to visit.

We splurged and went to the Mayan Riviera. Haven't traveled internationally since, so we're glad we did it. For #2 we went to Hawaii for 2 weeks, which was really nice.

Where on the east coast? I live down south. I would suggest Kiawah/Charleston, HHI/Savannah, SGI on the panhandle in Florida, or Sarasota FL. Or do like @Mrs. Jacks: and get an affordable flight to Mexico from NY or ATL!

Puerto Rico is a short flight from the east coast. It's like you've traveled to a special island and you would have expected it to take a lot longer. Clear blue warm water anytime of year!
There are some very beautiful resorts depending upon what you're looking to do. Relaxing on the beach, snorkeling, shopping and sight seeing are all fantastic. We usually stay 25min outside of San Juan and then go in for a day or 2 while we are there. We don't stay in San Juan because we like the better beaches at the other resorts outside of the city. Wyndham Rio Mar and the Conquistador are both fantastic!

We just came back from a babymoon in Honolulu, Hawaii. Granted, we've been there 3 times already in the past few years, but it was a great destination to just relax, eat all the yummy island food and enjoy each other's company.
We were torn between NYC or Hawaii (we live in the west coast), and ended up choosing Hawaii. I'm sooo glad we did because I don't think I can take all the walking required in NYC at 26 weeks!

We went to the Caribbean, and thought it was the perfect baby moon, especially to travel from the east coast. Would recommend one of the quieter islands like St. Kitts/Nevis or St. Martin (French side) for a baby moon!
I was in my early second trimester but wish I had gone a bit later when I felt more pregnant! Enjoy, wherever you decide to go!

Depending on our budget at the time, we are either spending a weekend in Fredericksburg, TX at a bed & breakfast, or taking a 4-day trip to Martha's Vineyard 
I grew up going there every summer, and think it would be a lovely, relaxing vacation!

We live in MA and we went to the Outer Banks in NC when I was around 25 weeks (I think?). It was super relaxing. We chose to stay in Nags Head because I was paranoid and that's where the hospital is!

we live in the dc area, and went to st. john. i was 30 weeks. it is a haul to get there, so i'm glad we got a chance to do it before the baby came (although i did see families there). we flew through san juan, PR and i thought that would be a great place for a babymoon--pretty easy to get to!

We went to Miami and stayed at the Fontainebleau. It was perfect. We loved the location and the pool/beach all daywas perfect. Fruitinfuxedwater by the pool helped to keep myself hydrated. Dinners were fancy amd yummy! Best choice.
