Luckily R did tonight! Within 5 mins of her normal talking/whinning she was out! Score!
Now fingers crossed she doesn't wake up crying due to teething again tonight.

Noooo! She cried for 35 minutes. She hasn't done that in a loooonnggg time!
cantaloupe / 6017 posts
Yup, she usually does if her routine/schedule is the same.
Tonight she was begging for us to put her down during the routine because she is sick and exhausted

Noooo! She's still crying I'm HBing to avoid going in there AGAIN. She missed her first nap and has been off all day. Overtired at its finest!

Nope! She's still rolling around in her crib. But she's not crying so I'll take it.

Yup. We nursed until he was so sleepy he couldn't stand it, then I swaddled him and rocked him for about 2 minutes before he was out! 20 minutes later he's still out!
Pretty good because last night I gave up and put him in bed with me. lol

Not even a peep. Her second nap didn't go well and we went to the water park today, so I know she's exhausted. Curled right up with her animals and seems to have passed out

My kid who normally plays silently til he falls asleep is wailing. So much so that even with daddy hugs (which calm and trump all) he is still upset. For no apparent reason. So weird.

D did...always has. I got lucky with him!
Still working on it with M. He's being pretty fussy.

Sort of? Usually I nurse to to sleep but tonight decided to quit it. DH bathed then dressed and swaddled him and he pretty much fell asleep with no effort. Only he had several wake ups for the first half hour he was down, which is unusual for him. But at one point I was on my way to soothe him and he just stopped screaming and fell asleep and no peeps since.

Yup, we were outside for most of the day so they were beat!

Yep. Being a baby is exhausting!
@Smurfette: I hear you on the teething. K's getting at least one of her lower canines.....poor bunny
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
Yep, really easily! I think we wore him out at the grandparents'!

Sort of. She cried after being in there for 5 minutes. I went and held her for a minute because it was her scared cry. Then she went straight to sleep.

Yes! We've had such a rough week & even rougher weekend in the sleep department so I'm so relieved. We will see how the rest of the night goes

charlie did because we went to the beach. he was tired!
olive is still up but she took a very long nap. should be out soon!
pomelo / 5326 posts
Yes she always goes down easily for naps and bedtime. She has a habit of waking up around midnight lately though....
grapefruit / 4006 posts
Nope it was a disaster tonight. Screaming hysterically for an hour. last night too. She's gone down easy for the last year or so, so I don't know what's up. Sigh.

He was good. But 20 mins in crib and he's still chattering away. He took a longer than usual nap so I just don't think he was as tired at bed time tonight.
persimmon / 1355 posts
Yes, for once. Although it was because she was crazy exhausted due to a short second nap. I'm afraid she's going to have a rough night. Ugh.
pineapple / 12053 posts
she's not totally asleep, but hasn't mad a peep. exhausted from the beach all day!
apricot / 495 posts
We are in the middle of CIO so no, he didnt go down easily! It's okay though. He consistently sleeps through the night so I know i won't hear a peep out of him until 8am tomorrow.
coconut / 8498 posts
Yes, but I can't even remember the last time she gave us trouble at bedtime... Over a year ago, probably!
pomegranate / 3791 posts
This last week has been the same every night...the second we lay him down he sits back up and starts bouncing, then cries loudly when you shut his door. But within 5 minutes he's passed out, so I'm good with it.
pomelo / 5628 posts
Haha, no! I was arching him jump up and down on the monitor which is totally out of the ordinary, so I caved...he drank a bunch more milk and right now he's on his back playing with yr bars of his crib, but not curing so I think I can eat dinner...
kiwi / 600 posts
Nope...my perfect little sleeper has been giving me a run for my money the past week or so. 2-yr molars are the worst!
kiwi / 689 posts
Yep, down without any fuss at all. And then she woke up fifty minutes later and is still up and jumping up and down in her crib at 9pm.
This is on top of three weeks of her waking up from 2am until 4am every. single. night. So over it.
nectarine / 2466 posts
2 hours later... And she's still up. We've had nothing but problems lately. Either she's impossible to get to bed, won't sleep through the night, or up crazy early. She's slso added not napping to the list. Ugh.
papaya / 10570 posts
Yes, very easily. I had to go in there once in the first five minutes to put her back down (she had sat up) but she fell asleep almost as soon as her head touched the mattress that time! We had to go into her three times during the night due to teething but she went back to sleep easy enough each time so I'll take that!
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
Yup. She woke at midnight, which was odd though, but went back to sleep on her own.
