ever have a photo shoot of you & baby nursing? I'm hoping to incorporate some nursing photos into LOs 6 month photo shoot. I'm pretty excited. Anyone else do something similar?

LO's newborn pics are tomorrow and I plan to get some nursing shots! I wanted to in the hospital but I was still struggling and crying so they didn't work out. Haha

@Danizaur: haha when we were in the hospital, instead of leaving the room my mom held a sheet over me while I tried to nurse & my brother was reading aloud some info graphic on the wall about proper nursing technique until I screamed that I knew how to do it & he needed to shut up & I had to send everyone out of the room until we were done lol congrats on your new little guy by the way

That might have been nice during newborn shots, but nursing was hell for me at that time, so nope.
Off topic but I sort of want 6 month photos but I'm not sure I can convince DH, you will have to share some of yours on the Sept mamas thread!

@Mrs. Sunshine: Lol we finally got the hang of it (somewhat. He gets plenty of milk but we could really work harder on his latch) but day 2 in the hospital a really nice nurse was telling me gently I was doing it wrong and I was just sobbing my eyes out. DH even started to tear up because I was so upset! My photographer said, "Uh, I'm going to go now".

We are just doing a mini session. It's only $50 with our photographer....maybe you can convince him by doing a cheaper session? -
I didn't but I had some friends get them (they're all BF advocates and one is a photographer, and she took some beautiful photos.) I say DO IT! I wasn't able to BF but I'm a huge supporter and I think it's definitely something worth capturing
