I think DH teared up! I was ecstatic and over the moon about finally meeting LO but my tears were from being traumatized from my nightmarish C-section!

DH got misty eyed, I was on cloud nine so no tears. I did cry a lot in the first month though! Lol!

My husband teared up, I was too exhausted from delivery to feel anything but overwhelmed!

We both did. I cried when I heard her cry. He got choked up when he was watching her get cleaned up. The nurse asked what her name was and he said he could just choke out, "ask her mom" because he was too emotional to say it out loud. We both cried multiple times while we were in the hospital.

no, but I cried for the next month every time I heard a love song on the radio.....it was suddenly all about my LO and me

I know I didn't, and I think my husband didn't, but he did have some magical time with our son in the rocking chair while I got cleaned up, so I might have missed it.

I was shocked when I saw her (I had an unplanned csection)...all I could think was "she is huge!" and she looked like an angry sumo wrestler...but then she cried and then I cried and my husband got teary (he was mostly concerned about me bc I lost too mug blood and the doctors were trying to deal with that)

I won't know for another 8 or so weeks, but I totally cried when my niece was born (I was in the delivery room).

We didn't. Well I teared up a little because I was so scared because she wasn't breathing and we couldn't see her. We cried during our stay though a few times because of bad news

My DH cried multiple times throughout my labor and cried a lot when DD was born.
I cried a little, but mostly because getting stitched up hurt so bad I started to panic and was crying for DH to help me.

I didn't cry because LO was born, I cried because I was in pain. Hubs didn't cry - he was just so in awe.

I don't think I will, I for sure know DH will. ;P he's not a big crier, but at "big life moments" (i.e. when he put his dog down, our wedding day) he's a puddle!
We have our anatomy scan next week and he's warned me that he may cry.

My husband teared up and I definitely cried.
It was uncontrollable! We were both overcome with joy and that she was finally here!

@cvbee: haha I cried for weeks over Christmas songs (DS was born 12/17) after delivery. Last week Mariah's 'all I want for Christmas' popped up on my iPod and I totally got misty-eyed all over again

We both cried with both babies. We're kinda crying people, though; both of us cried at our wedding, too!

DH cried. I was so overwhelmed and shocked I didn't. (I went into labor at 34 weeks, it was very unexpected). I've cried a lot after his birth though, especially the day we left him in the nicu and I was discharged from the hospital.
