We stopped at an Arby's for DH to get something to eat since he left work at the end of the day and we left for the hospital right away. He couldn't decide what he wanted so we sat there for ever, I just about killed him. I think I had a mozzarella stick, but didn't feel like eating at all.

No way - I was in too much pain to eat anything. DH stopped to get lunch at Burger King on our way and the smell if his fries had me thisclose to barfing.

No. I'd been planning on making pancakes, and I don't know why I didn't. I had Chinese takeout a few hours before, which was a huge mistake.

I had some plain pasta with butter and parm cheese a couple hours before we left for the hospital.

I went for pizza and I think I ate half of the large pizza, may have been a mistake. I didn't go into L&D until 4 am and I didn't eat anything between dinner and when I went in, that was a mistake too.

I went to the hospital right after dinner, but all i had was miyuk guk. I totally regret not eating lots beforehand, because i was in active labour for 20 hours!

The first time, Thai food that we had ordered in. The second time, cold Hawaiian pizza from CPK and coconut water.

For DD I didn't eat a whole lot and was starving. For DS I had just eaten a huge anniversary meal (Italian) so I was stuffed!

I went into labor at 3:30am and had half a bagel. Due to complications I wasn't allowed to eat for two days after delivery. I sure wish I'd eaten more before I left.

I had every intention of eating before going to the hospital after reading some tips from HBers. I went into labor at 2:30am and was way too anxious/excited to eat. I did have 2-3 crackers while in the car.

I tried to eat a peanut butter sandwich but could only finish a few bites. I just didn't feel like eating at all.

My water broke at 3am and we still stopped. DH insisted he was starving! I ate some fruit, walnuts, & yogurt. My midwife also allowed fluids during labor so I was allowed to have broth, juice, etc.

Not right before going but I did eat plenty while laboring at home since I'd heard people say how hungry they got at the hospital. I think probably if you're going to puke, it's probably going to happen whether you've eaten super recently or not!

No, I was not hungry at all the whole time I was in labor.

I had 1/2 a digiorno pizza before I went into labor, my water broke while I ate! We left for the hospital about 1.5 hours later.

I knew it would be my last meal without kids so I took a pic! Is that weird or what? I had a hot dog, Kraft Mac and cheese, and baked potato salad.

Yes! I loaded up on protein. Peanut butter sandwich, cheese, and hard boiled eggs.

No and it was a huge mistake. I wound up not being allowed to eat again for 48 long hours, 12 of which were after I had already delivered because I had some complications that might have warranted surgery so I still wasn't allowed to eat or drink

I had a peanut butter sandwich at 2am. I went into bad contractions around 4:30am. There was no way I was eating once those started.

I honestly can't remember? Based on the timing when I went in, I'm pretty sure we probably had dinner as usual. I wasn't too concerned about fueling up though because I was told I could eat while I was laboring unless I planned for an epi or whatever and the maternity ward had a nicely stocked kitchen.

I knew I was being induced at midnight, so I had a normal dinner pretty early and then tried (and pretty much failed) to sleep. While at the hospital in the early stages, I had a banana and some juice. Baby was born at 10:45 am, so I didn't go long without being able to eat.

I was induced at 5:30 am and wasn't hungry when I woke up to get ready to head in. However, I still made egg, bacon and cheese sandwiches for us. I ended up being in labor for 24 hours and was surprised that I wasn't really hungry that whole time. I'm guessing my body was busy with other stuff!

I was induced both times. With DD I had to be at the hospital at 7AM, I ate a cup of yoplait yogurt right before leaving our house. With DS I had to be at the hospital at 6AM, we drove through McDonalds on the way to the hospital and I had a bacon egg cheese biscuit and hashbrown.
