We did some, not a lot though. We would host football parties. When I was in college I'd have everyone over for the Jewish holidays because I couldn't go home for them. I made a huge meal with matzo ball soup, brisket, noodle kugel, etc. But now we just go to family.

We entertained a lot pre-dogs, but once we got our second dog, things got crazier so we entertain a lot less now. Also, a lot more of our friends started buying houses around that same time so we had more options of places to go. I'm thinking we will entertain even less once we have a baby because the idea of a baby and two dogs...eek.

Yes! Our house was the place to be - we loved having people over! We still have people come over after LO goes to bed...I love entertaining...Making food, eat together, playing board games...LOVE!

We still "entertain". It's just that my outlet is a little different. Now I host play dates and art days. I still make way to much food and spoil all my mommy and daddy guests. I love hosting. It's just a slightly different venue. I have to admit I through a pretty good party. It hasn't been a huge transition. Most of my friends are moms now too so we are all looking for family activities. I especially love planning birthdays and holidays.

No, not really. Our apt isn't big enough to entertain.

yes, i loved to entertain people all the time! we had this annual holiday party that i hosted every year (we were going on year 7... but once my LO was born that ended), we hosted 4th of july parties, wine and cheese nights, boardgame nights, beer tasting parties, etc. like you, i loved serving people food and alcohol! i miss it. the most recent one we had was a superbowl party and that worked out well because it was in the middle of the afternoon.
