Did you have maternity pictures done? If so, how much.

nope! I wanted to save the money for a newborn photographer. I don't regret it, but I did take a weekly photo of myself so I do have something to look back on.

Nope, but if I had we would have used our regular photographer, who charges 60$

yes, they cost $375. we got a dvd of images included. I only regret that I couldn't also afford a newborn session, but i decided for baby #2 i will not do maternity again (i have seen that lots of people do a second round of maternity/family photos) and i will get newborn ones done instead.

Our photographer does a special deal with maternity, newborn, three month, six month, nine month, and one year pictures for $500. We will definitely take advantage of that!

No, and I'm not really a fan of my pregnant look, so I try to avoid pictures in general, ha! I have the obligatory "bump in mirror" shots and that's enough for me.

@indi: That's a great deal!
Our photog charged $125 for the maternity session with a DVD of images. I haven't printed any yet, and LO is 13 weeks. I really need to get on that.

Yes ours was about $150 but that included the rights to the photos, with a disk.

@mrskc: ditto. I took regular photos throughout to document but nothing pro. I figured I'd want photos of the baby a lot more. So far she is way cuter than I was pregnant.

@Ash: Wow! That is so amazing! Photographers here like to charge $150 a session (not bad) but then you have to buy a minimum of $250 to get the rights to print your own photos. Crazy town!
DH took some of me for free in our back yard! I'm glad we did it, we've got plans to take more in diffrent poses/outfits & some with him. All for f-r-e-e!

@MrsH: @MrsTiz: Small town Iowa pricing. Plus, she was our wedding photog and she does nature-y photos which I looooove!

I did not, and I really regret it. I'm a terrible procrastinator and just waited too long.

My husband took a couple of me, by the river near our old apartment. He used his tripod to get in a few shots.
Almost 3 years later, we've never done anything with those photos.

I haven't yet but I'm thinking we will. I am a pretty good photographer on my own, so I'll take our own newborn pics
