I was induced so they used pitocin. It didnt do much for me, so I wouldnt get it if its not needed

Nope but my labor was already moving pretty fast!

Nope. Not to get it going. They gave it to me afterwards to help get my belly or whatever contracting.

I had some 30 hours into labor when I stopped progressing.

Had it to induce labor. Also had it after to help stop bleeding

I got it once the epi slowed down my contractions and made them irregular.

I did during with DS & it did NOT speed anything up. Pitocin actually isn't approved for augmenting labor because of its high "failure" rate & pp risks. (Pitocin used during labor increases risk of pp hemorrhage).
With P I did receive a very small & slow dose after delivery because I had a very tired labor (very long multiple day labor) and I was not able to immediately breastfeed. Had I been able to breastfeed immediately I wouldn't have received it.

I got some pitocin after my epidural to help my labor progress.

Yes, they didn't even ask/tell me beforehand, which is apparently illegal? I don't think it did much for me anyway.

I was induced with both so yep I had it. Getting the epidural and my water breaking is what really sped it up for me both times.

Nope, didn't need it. My labor went pretty quickly on its own.

Yup, with WJ I had pitocin from the get go and still took almost 24 hours to dilate fully. With LMW I was induced so again, pitocin from the get go and I was ready after just 6 or 7 hours!
