Sort of? Not really? The first summer after my dad and stepmother were married my stepsister and I went to an in-home daycare during the summer. I don't remember much about it except there were like 10 other kids and we ate a lot of tamales and ice pops.

Nope, my mom was SAHM until we came here through first grade, then we were latch key kids!

Nope. My stepmom was a SAHM. I didn't go to school until kindergarten. She went through a pre k curriculum with me before I started school.

My mom was a waitress when I was really little, so my grandma or aunts would watch me when she was working. Then she became a manager and I know I did go to a preschool for a long time (I still remember the name and what the classroom and yard looked like). I remember hating being the last one picked up. It wasn't everyday, but if it happened it made me feel awful.

I think my mom sent me to mother's day out when I was little and then maybe pre-K?

We did random Mother's Day Out until we were 4 then went to preschool.

I was in daycare from the time I was 7 weeks old until 11 years old. Preschool at 4, kindergarten at 5, but still at daycare when I wasn't in school.

ETA: Daycare from 7 weeks till 6 was in-home. Then we moved and had to find new daycare. W went to a center for 3 weeks and it was terrible. Luckily my mom found a new in-home and it was fabulous. We stayed there till I was 11 (sister was 7) and the provider quit.

I went to daycare a couple days a week the year before I went to kindergarten to meet and get to know some of my future classmates and get used to leaving home for a period of time... But probably more to get me out of my mum's hair, lol. My mum was a SAHM. I loved it, but I was never one to just stay at home anyway; was always at either of my grandparents or at an aunts.

She tried the same thing with my brother, but he HATED it. I think he went twice before she said "fuck it" and hoped for the best when he went to kindergarten lol.

Yes, we went to an inhome until we started school and then went to an after school daycare until we were old enough to stay home. I went to preschool 3 times a week at a local church the year before I started kindergarden. I still remember our prayer before snack time

I went to pre-school at ages 3 and 4 at my local library. It was p/t, maybe a few days a week/few hours a day. My mom is still great friends with a few other moms she met there.

I went to nursery school, yes.

I went to preschool when I was 4 and it was at the local elementary school (it was actually a class that the public school district set up). I think I went 8a-12p, 5 days a week.

My siblings and I did not go to daycare - a relative watched us while my parents worked. I was the only one of my siblings that attended preschool.

I think preschool wasn't as common then {early 80s} and my mom became aware of it when she enrolled my brother in Kindergarten because it was affiliated with our local elementary school.
