I always wanted one so bad! But we had no trees on our property...haha.

No, we didn't have a tree house, though we climbed the trees all the time. I didn't feel lacking for not having a tree house, but we had the woods to play in, so it was probably close enough!

My mom built a tree platform for us in our backyard, but then a girl down the street who weighed quite a bit kept asking to go up in it. So to not upset her by saying no, my mom took down the tree house entirely!

The neighbor has one and it's bordering our property. But they moved and the new neighbors say they want to take down the tree (beautiful red maple).
We probably won't ever build one ourselves, so that treehouse was our LO's only opportunity to be able to play in one.

Yes! I did.
We found out that someone on our street was using it as a drug drop-off point. Drug deals were going down in our tree house... creepy!

We had a clubhouse that was build on top of a storage shed, like a tree house and needed a latter, but not connected to an actual tree. We loved it!

I grew up in the country, so there were tons of woods in our backyard and plenty of trees. I think we built a new tree house every week during summer vacation. We always got in trouble for leaving my dad's hammer in the woods.
