i did, twice! once in 9th grade for a year, and then had to get them back on six months later because my ortho sucked and took them prematurely the first time!
i still want invisalign tho, i wasn't good about retainer wearing and my teeth aren't 100% straight!

I want invisalign too!! I had braces in junior high and was really bad about wearing my retainers.

I had braces for my freshman year of high school. I stopped wearing my retainer so my teeth are a little crooked again. I'm thinking about invisalign.. maybe after I'm done having kids.

Twice for me too, if you count invisalign. I had braces for 2 years in grade school, then never wore my retainer, so I spent another 2 years with invisalign just recently. Now I need to get better at wearing my new retainers every night...

I had about 5 teeth pulled before I got braces in 6th grade. I had them throughout junior high school and got them off just before starting high school. I never wore my retainer and my one lazy tooth fell back a bit. I repurchased retainers from my original orthodontist about 8 months before my wedding. I'm not willing to recommit to braces and invisalign is so much money! But I now wear my retainers every single night... So dorky and my poor DH. But whatever. I love them!

Nope! My teeth are pretty straight but not perfect. I like my teeth though and I'm glad I didn't get braces.

Yep, grade 7-9...I was hardcore about wearing my retainer for years but still my teeth have shifted a little but not enough to bother me.

Yup from 2nd grade to 5th grade. One of my teeth shifted back behind another one(not too bad) and I asked my dentist about Invisalign and he said that sometimes they shift back and could potentially again if i get braces again. Not worth it.

yup, for 2.5 years! I got them taken off just before I started my second year of college!
i don't wear my retainer, so they've moved a little, but not as much as i'd expected! i got a permanent retainer on the bottom teeth, and i wish my ortho had just given me one for the top too!

yup. for 3 years, 5th to 8th grade. dh did too, due to a cleft lip that for some reason made one tooth grow in funky...

No, I lucked out with decent teeth. My teeth aren't straight by any means, but they are not in need of braces quite yet.
