Well, we didn't find out the sex, so we would have gone in with two names no matter what. We ended up going in with a list of 3 girl names, 1 with multiple middle names. We had pretty much settled on a boy name, only because it was the only name that met all of our criteria AND we agreed on, and it had 3 possible middle names. We decided to wait until we met him and see what we thought.

We had a list of possible names. Soon after birth, like twenty minutes later, we talked about them. In the afternoon, we solidified his name before my parents visited. We went with what he looked like to us, not an already set name.

To be fair, we had DD's name picked out before we were even married. The moment we find out she was a girl we told everybody her name... Not that it was a secret to begin with. Now that we have used up our one and only "future baby" name, not sure what we will do with the next one.

We had the name when we found out she was a girl. I told my parents but we kept it a secret from everyone else. I did have her Christmas stocking all ready to go though since she was born in December.

We were very much decided - I am an over planner and it would have stressed me to be undecided before the birth! Luckily he suits it very well
I also found boys names much harder though - we had our potential girls name chosen by about 12 weeks!

With DS we knew and told everyone what his name was before he was born. Things in his room said Grayson and everything

With DD we had two names going in to the hospital, that only DH and I knew and picked when she was born.

We had the first name settled right after we found out it was a girl. Middle name was decided while in labor!

Barely! We decided that morning.

T's first and middle name (and last name ) were decided and confirmed the day we found out he was a boy!

We had the name picked out (name on wall and everything) and told family/friends. However, next round I plan on trying to keep the name quiet, which might not be an issue since agreeing could be very interesting!

We had a our boy name before we got married. It's a family name and when DH mentioned once that if he had a boy, he wanted to name this, I immediately fell in love. We didn't seriously talk about girl names b/c we knew we were going to find out the gender so it wasn't worth "fighting" about if it was a non issue, which it ended up being since we have our boy. We told our parents the name and I had it printed on a white onsie and brought to the hospital so that people who visited and the doctor/nurses who delivered could sign it.

We have both our boy and girl name chosen, but are keeping them secret - not because we may change our minds but because we have no desire to hear anyone's opinions on them until after baby is born.
