The same? Just curious. My belly is much bigger (but the rest of me smaller) than with my first pregnancy, but I left the hospital pretty "flat" (meaning lots of skin and some belly -eta I'm definitely not calling it pretty!- but not really looking pregnant) with lo1.
It doesn't really matter (no beauty contest for me!) just curious what to expect. I've been in shock this whole pregnancy so far with how differently my body has reacted.

Mine was pretty much the same but with more stretch marks. At 5 weeks post partum I think things are going to be similar for me.

I can let you know in the next 3 weeks! This pregnancy. my belly has been so much bigger, so much faster--and I didn't carry small the first time.
I had "pudge", but no extra skin the first time---just my terrible bright red stretch marks! My belly is on the Real Bellies Gold thread, haha. This time, I have no idea....my previous stretch marks grew wider and longer (ouch), so I have a feeling it's going to be bad.

Definitely less. Mainly because I wore a bellefit though with the second child and I didn't with the first.

Exactly the same for me, but I carried exactly the same both times too. And both ended around 32-33 weeks, so I don't know if I would have looked more pregnant postpartum had I carried to term.

I still look pregnant and DS is almost 6 mo, it went down pretty much immediately with DD.

Bigger! Gained less, and no new stretch marks, but am definitely chunkier this time around at 10 weeks PP. breastfeeding is not my saving grace apparently

I lost the weight at the same time, but my belly was still big for a while. And then there were the few months where I didn't know I was pregnant again and getting very frustrated by my thick waist. I was constantly complaining to DH that I still looked pregnant. Haha.

@oliviaoblivia: this is what I'm wondering about! I won't mind if the weight comes off a little slower (last time lost really quick due to not eating because of ppd/a but it didn't stay off.) I am just wondering if there's something that makes the uterus/belly sometimes not wanna go back!

I started off at a lower weight, gained less, and delivered two weeks early unmedicated which led to less swelling this time.
I'm only 4 days post partum and am at my 10wk po with #1 wt and my belly is much smaller, though still flabby.

DH confessed that he thought I had a secret donut problem because my belly wasn't getting smaller. Nice honey. It's so ridiculous the symptoms I completely missed because I blamed it on being pp and nursing.

Belly took longer to look not pregnant after 2nd. Even though at 7m I lost all the weight my tummy is still not the same....and looked the same much more quickly after #1.

I shrunk down the same both times, almost back to "flat" as in not looking pregnant by the time I left hospital. By day 7 PP I didn't look pregnant anymore, but it had (has) more "jelly" than before that I'm working on! I did gain 20 more pounds with my first pregnancy than my second (I went into my second with an extra 10 that wasn't there before my first but that is gone now)
