Hello everyone!
Did you "lurk" before joining HB? If so, why? And for how long?
Or did you just jump straight in? I did - I stumbled upon HB while Googling a question about TTC, read a few posts, joined up the very same day and made my first post as soon as I was approved. It never occurred to me to lurk.... maybe i'm just over confident!

I joined right in! I wasn't super active until LO was born though. Joined right before my wedding.

Only for a bit when I was TTC for S. I joined in at the March 2013 group and then have been a regular ever since.

I lurked! I was shy and figured I had nothing to add- womp womp. Finally "came out" and am so happy I did!

I "lurked" maybe a day? I think? I don't remember! I can't imagine I'd join without looking first though!

For a few days, but only because I didn't realize the email approving me went to my junk folder! Once I found it there, I jumped right in.

I lurked for a few months and have just recently joined. I'm not TTC, not pregnant, nor do I have any kids. I decided to finally join because we do hope to TTC later this year.

I voted over a year, because I followed the blog for awhile before we were anywhere near ready to TTC. I guess though my lurking on the boards was really only about a month when I once just starting to think about TTC, but signed up and joined the POAS threads the first month we actually tried.

No, there was no way I could not post anything! I think one of the first posts was introducing yourselves and how you heard about HB.

I actually joined when HB was in beta. I tried posting a little and then stopped. I lurked for a while because I felt like it was hard to jump back into the convos so to speak. Finally I added gold and forced myself to start posting.

I started lurking in the fall of last year when we started talking about TTC and then joined last November. Can't believe it's been over a year!

I read the blog for a few months before venturing over to the boards, but I jumped right in on the boards. I could never lurk because it's so much fun to get to know everyone!

I lurked for a long time because I wanted children but knew I wouldn't be having any for quite a while. I felt like I wouldn't have a lot to add to the discussion so I waited, but I'm glad I finally jumped in!

Nope, I had been really active on the WB TTC boards though so I felt comfortable with most of the users here already (joined while it was in beta).

I lurked for a couple of weeks, mostly to get the vibe of the site & saw how helpful everyone was, so I finally decided to join. All of our families live far away from us, so happy that I have somewhere to ask questions when the time comes.

I was newly engaged when it started, so no where near TTC, but already thinking about a family.

I was a lurkin for a looooong time.. I think I tried to join after a month or two, but the link didnt work and id been lurking for awhile so I went back to it. When month 6 of trying, so like 8 of reading, came and went with no luck I hit a new low and that is when I joined. I'm ao glad that I did that!
